Warranty

Global Security Glazing warrants:

1. Each unit of laminated glass, Secur-Tem+Poly glass-clad polycarbonate, and Inferno-Lite security glazing to be free form delamination for a period of five (5) years from the date of manufacture.
2. Each unit of Lexgard and PowR-Lite laminated polycarbonate products to be free from delamination for a period of ten (10) years from the date of manufacture.
3. Each unit of insulated glass (IG) to be free from material obstruction of vision as a result of film formation on the internal glass surfaces caused by failure of the hermetic seal due to defects in material or workmanship for a period of five (5) years from date of manufacture.
   1. Insulated units containing laminated glass, covered in sections (a) or (b), will carry a five (5) year warranty from date of manufacture for the LG portion of the product and the warranty stated above for the laminated portion of the product.
   2. Insulated glass warranty does not apply to any IG unit insulated in water craft, land vehicles, trailers, swimming pools, or solar collectors.
   3. Air-Gap (AG) units are not covered by Global Security Glazing's insulated glass warranty. Air-Gap units are constructed with an exterior lite of laminated glass and an interior lite of laminated polycarbonate. The two lites are separated by an air space (0.25" minimum) which is created using a proprietary edge spacer and seal system. Laminated polycarbonate is hydroscopic in nature and can/will allow moisture to pass through it. As a result, Air-Gap units carry no warranty against, fogging, condensation, or seal failure.
   4. Insulated units (IG), covered by section (c) warranty, will be void if IG units supplied with breather tubes are not sealed within sixty days of manufacture.

The above warranties are subject to the following terms and conditions. These terms and conditions supersede all Purchaser requests for variations unless Global Security Glazing accepts such variations in writing prior to manufacturing and shipment of materials.

1. The warranty is limited to the replacement of the defective product, including shipping charges, and does not include labor costs for removal or reinstallation.
2. The warranty does not apply to glass which has not been handled, stored, installed, or used in accordance with Global Security Glazing's instructions or industry guidelines.
3. There is no warranty against glass breakage, surface damage, or scratches on either glass or polycarbonate surfaces. Purchaser is responsible for processing freight claims.
4. The warranty does not apply to replacement glass beyond the period covering the original lite.
5. Warranty for products installed outside of the United States will be issued contingent upon consideration of product application and warranty requested.
6. The warranty does not apply to material that is not paid for in full.
   

Global Security Glazing is not to be held liable for damages or expenses due to late delivery of raw materials; manufacturing delays; defective or broken products (except to the extent of express warranty); internal errors; improper handling or negligence by Purchaser; delays due to strikes, fires, or freight carriers; priorities of the government or any department thereof; natural disasters; or acts that are unavoidable and beyond the control of Global Security Glazing.
